The main convention hotel is now full. Below you can find details of our overflow hotels; their prices and distances away from the necessities. We’ve also included a link to the hotel websites for reference but please remember to book directly with LX. At the bottom of the page you can find a map showing the locations of all our hotels.

Please place the hotels in order of preference along with the number & types of room and the dates required. Post the completed form along with a cheque made payable to “LX2009” (or just fill out the credit card information) to cover the non-returnable £20 deposit required for each room booked to the convention mailing address: LX2009 c/o Alice Lawson, 379 Myrtle Road, Sheffield, S2 3HQ.
Shuttle Bus
It is currently anticipated that we will have one bus running on the continuous loop every half hour, between the main four hotels (The Cedar Court, Hilton, Midland and Campanile), over the following periods:
Friday - 12.00 pm (midday) to 12.00am (midnight)
Saturday - 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and 5.00pm to 12.30 am
Sunday - 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and 5.00pm to 12.30 am
Monday - 8.30 am to 8.00 pm
At peak times, and we see this as first thing in the morning and last thing at night, we hope to have a second bus running, doubling the carrying capacity.
This would mean at peak times a maximum waiting time of about no more than 20 minutes and we should have the potential to carry more than 200 per hour people during these peak periods. We believe this should allow for everyone who is up for the start of the Programme to be at the Cedar Court in time.
We will have a proper time table in our final PR, which will be delivered just a few weeks before the convention. We hope that people are happy with this, do let us know what you think.

The Midland Hotel

Built at the turn of the 20th century and houses some of the finest examples of Victorian interiors in the region. The hotel has undergone a recent extensive renovation with a lot of time and money put into the project to restore it to former glory. There is free car parking and free WiFi in public areas.

The Campanile

This hotel was previously the Novotel, but it has recently been taken over by the Campanile chain. Free car parking.

Sited in the heart of Bradford, it’s only a few minutes walk from the Bradford Interchange, and it’s close to the restaurants and shops. Parking is available at the concessionary rates of £5 per day in the adjacent NCP car park.
